U.S. FOREST SERVICE
In 2011, I worked on a three person U.S. Forest Service crew in the Boulder Ranger District of Arapaho-Roosevelt National Forest. Our crew used manual and chemical methods to target invasive plant species. We used ArcGIS and GPS to map and record invasive species counts and their location for the U.S. Forest Service nationwide database and we assisted in educating the public on plant species identification and invasive control methods. I was also received during my service the Boulder Ranger District Safe Seasonal Employee of the Year Award.
