In 2012 and 2013, I worked with the City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks Department. I led youth crews in environmental education and stewardship, trail construction, and natural resource management throughout the City of Boulder. After that, I had the opportunity to work as a Trail Crew Member, building trail projects and completing resource assessments for the city following the 2013 floods and the disaster declaration.
